The alternating end grains of red oak, pine and cedar give this creation a beauty that just makes you stare. Each row is made of 5 end grain pieces that are 1 ½ thick. Over all it is 21 ½ inches long and 7 ¼ inches wide. It is coated in walrus brand wax so it is food safe. The end grain faces the top butcher block style so that you can use it for cutting and the grain will more readily receive the blade and close back up. We would use it as a center piece for a place to “store it” but also use it as a charcuterie board!
